Checking in - an update

I'd intended on keeping this regularly updated with writing, but life has had other ideas recently. I'm in the process of doing many things simultaneously, the most harrowing of which is that I'm getting a divorce from my wife of 6 1/2 years. While it's about as amicable as such a thing can be, we have two kids and it involves moving and other fun stuff as well, and my own computer is currently unavailable to me.

So bear with me, all two or three of my readers, until I return once things have settled a bit (hopefully in September).
